Key Business Need All-in-one Solution
Challenge
Overwhelmed with management responsibilities, CrossFit Pittsburgh co-owner Mike Pietragallo was in need of a platform that could improve on the pencil and paper method he was using to manage his gym. He tried Pike 13...for a while. “It was not intuitive. It was double the work to finish the workout and the blog,” says Pietragallo.
Keeping members’ accounts up-to-date was also a challenge. When monthly fees were due, the gym’s members weren’t alerted and their payments fell behind. CrossFit Pittsburgh found Pike 13’s usability so lackluster, they resorted to using pen and paper again. Pietragallo laments, “In Pike 13, we were still taking attendance with pencils and paper, and payments were almost optional.”
Solution
In Wodify's Customer Retention Platform (CRP), CrossFit Pittsburgh and co-owner Mike Pietragallo found the user-friendly software solution that could help them do away with pencils and paper for good. “For me, I was able to sit down right away, get it, and it was so much easier. We lay out our program, it posts to the blog, and boom! It’s done.”
Pietragallo’s interest in Wodify's CRP features has expanded beyond performance tracking and attendance and moved into retail sales. “We don't have a desk where we can sell items, but the Point of Sale feature is really simple. I can figure it out - that’s how simple it is!” says Pietragallo, enthusiastically.
