The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.
A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!
Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.

Key Business Need: A unique student experience to stand out in a crowded market
Josh Vogel, co-owner and head instructor, is a multiple-degree black belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and has been training, competing, and teaching professionally for 18+ years. Angie Vogel, co-owner and instructor, is also a black belt in Jiu Jitsu and has been training and teaching both Jiu Jitsu and Muay Thai for 10 years.
They both had taught at another Jiu Jitsu school previously but had so many ideas on how to give back to the Jiu Jitsu world and foster a community of their own, so they decided to open up their own studio. Angie explained to us that “any time you’re really invested in something you're passionate about, you start to develop your own ideas as to how you want to present it to the world”.
Little did Angie know that this would turn into a completely digitized experience for her students and that they would be paving the way for other Jiu Jitsu schools to provide high-value memberships through technology.
Angie’s challenge was that she wanted to provide the most value possible for her students, which meant ensuring they were coming to class prepared, leaving class feeling confident, and tracking their progress along the way.
She invested in high-quality equipment and a brand new studio space, however, there was still something missing…the digital tools to supplement expert instruction. Jiu Jitsu is about so much more than the physical space, it is about learning to master techniques.
Jiu Jitsu students are very particular about their study time and tend to watch a lot of videos outside of class time. Often times students find whatever random videos they can on the internet, but the Vogels knew that their students watching different videos from various instructors on the internet is unproductive when it comes to running a consistent curriculum.
This is when the Vogels knew they had to do something different. They partnered with Wodify to be the first Jiu Jitsu studio in Philadelphia to bring the Wodify digital student experience to their students.
Before class: Through the Wodify digital student experience JJC students have access to the class agenda and instructional videos through the Wodify App so that students can feel prepared for class via Wodify Perform.
During class: Students glance at looping instructional videos playing via Kiosk+ on TVs hung throughout the studio to reinforce what the instructor just demoed.
After class: Students take reflection notes and upload training videos within the Wodify Mobile App so they can go back and study what they have learned from class that day.
“My favorite solution Wodify has provided is the platform for us to provide a consistent curriculum to students instead of having them spend hours looking for random free videos online”
The Vogels have been astonished by the results, so much so, that they advertise the use of this digital experience on their website because it is very much ahead of what other gyms in their area are doing and it has put them ahead of competitors for potential sign-ups.
To exemplify how much of an impact Wodify has had on JJC’s students, Angie told us a story about a student that came into class late because of work. He walked in nervously and paired up with another student that had already been there for the instructor demo. When the late student asked his partner what they were working on, the partner simply pointed to the TV screen showing a looping video and the late student was immediately able to catch up without interrupting the class.
Overall, Wodify has been an enormous success for JJC and they are proud to be a Wodify partner continuing their mission of giving back to the Jiu Jitsu community and building the business of their dreams.
“It is such a proof of concept that people are visual learners and can reference on Kiosk+”
