Our goal with the Affiliate Design program is to share with other gyms and communities the effectiveness and fun of the programming from CrossFit Krypton, while also helping affiliate owners relieve some of the burden and stress that comes with developing an effective program for their athletes. Each session is designed around a class time of 60 minutes and includes warm-ups, workouts, coach notes, and scaling options. Also included are our daily Krypton FIT workouts, and our weekly Olympic lifting class workouts. The Krypton Fit classes are 30-minute classes with simple movements, focused on basic metabolic conditioning and high-intensity interval training. Don’t let the simplicity fool you, these workouts will test your resolve!
Our workouts of the day are as “classic CrossFit” as you can get. We believe challenging our athletes is vital to success in their fitness journey. As a gym, we seek virtuosity in movements, and intensity in workouts. “The workout of the day should exceed the capacity of the fittest athletes on earth” -Greg Glassman. BUT, every workout is universally scaleable. Each workout session is designed around a class time of 60 minutes, including warm-ups, workout of the day, coach notes, and scaling options. The Krypton Fit classes are built around a 30-minute class window. These daily (6x week) workouts contain simple movements, focused on basic metabolic conditioning and high-intensity interval training. We often have athletes who try these classes as their first introduction to CrossFit and high-intensity exercise. We don’t usually require an introduction course for these classes. BUT, don’t let the simplicity fool you, these workouts will test your resolve!
The Krypton Strong Olympic weightlifting class is a 75-90 minute, once per week class, on Saturdays. This is a specialty class Ben personally runs for those interested in building familiarity with the two Olympic lifts: The Snatch and the Clean and Jerk. Each session includes a warm-up, skills and drills, one or two main lifts, and some accessory work to finish. If you have athletes who struggle with barbell lifts and technique during regular class times, this is a great chance for them to drill these basics!
